What is the Day x Day Project?
Day x Day is an online network that holds a space for teenagers going through a tough time at home. Whether it’s having an addictive parent or divorce, kids on the other end should not have to feel like keeping all feelings to themselves. More than a blog, a community of teens all going through something, maybe even some of the same thing, together. Day by day, it will get lighter and easier.
About
Meet Char
Welcome. My name is Charlotte Au, and I am a student at Dwight-Englewood School in Englewood, NJ. I am a pretty normal teenager. I like to play sports, hang out with my friends, go shopping, and watch TV. But on the inside, there was more going on beyond the surface.
During middle school, my family went through a difficult period at home. This includes my parents’ divorce and my dad’s alcohol use. As an only child, I often felt isolated, and there were very few places to turn for support or understanding.
Over time, things began to improve, but the experience made me realize how limited resources are for teens facing difficult situations at home. Life can be overwhelming, especially when you feel like you’re facing it alone.
Day x Day is a space created for teens to share, ask questions, and find advice in a safe and supportive environment. The goal is to remind young people that they are not alone and that there is a place where their experiences are understood.

Leave Your Mark
Day x Day is your space to find advice or share any questions, comments, or concerns about your life at home. Each week, we will post a new piece of advice from the Google Form through our Instagram page in the bio, or our questionnaire on this site.
